Missions

There are many areas in which we participate in mission work within our community. There are 3 consistent areas though which are:

Family Promise Cheyenne: Formerly Cheyenne Interfaith Hospitality Network or CIHN; about every 7 weeks we host families from theĀ  Interfaith Hospitality Network. From Sunday afternoon until the next Sunday morning, we provide housing and meals for families trying to get on their feet. For more information about FPC, check out the FPC website . If you would like to get involved, you can provide meals, be an evening host or an overnight host, set-up and clean-up. For more info on how you can help, contact Kathy, our office administrator, at 778-3098.

Comea Shelter: Frontier UMC supports the Comea Shelter in downtown Cheyenne through our financial gifts and service. Each year we usually have a Cookie and Craft sale, usually on the first weekend of December, and 100% of the proceeds go to support this ministry. We also serve meals on the fourth Friday of every month.

Bethel Outreach Ministries: We also help financially with the Bethel Outreach Ministries, a ministry giving a helping hand to those that are reentering society from previous incarceration. Contact: betheloutreach-reentryservices.org
