Prayer Booklet
PRAYING FROM THE FRONTIER
2012
Greetings,
This document is only a portion of the full prayer booklet, originally published in 2011. You will see a calendar for the current month, along with a prayer guide for that month. Each quarter there will be a new prayer story to illustrate God’s work in our lives in answer to prayer. Prayer Ministry hopes that this information and illustration of prayer will encourage each of us to be diligent and intentional in our prayer life.
As Christians we often take for granted the privilege we share to pray to our loving God no matter what is happening in our lives. We forget that Jesus commanded us to pray without ceasing. Far too often we move through our busy schedules and leave the prayer for those times of emergencies or deep need. When we pray this way, we are ignoring our deep need for guidance and direction in everything we do. We also ignore the need that others have for our prayers.
Both Steve and Prayer MinistryI encourage you to make time to pray regularly. Use this booklet as a guide each month. Remember that time spent with God in prayer is time well spent.
Grace and peace,
Pastor Steve
