The encounter weekend is a time to get away from the schedules and demands of our daily lives to spend time focused in on our relationship with God. It's about 30 hours in duration, from Friday night to Saturday night, on a weekend in March. Participants have time for worship, reading The Word, prayer, contemplation, and hearing messages given by others on the journey of faith. It is a time to really turn and face the freedom we have because of our God and what He and His Son have done for us. Sometimes our minds move so quickly and it is a struggle to find the time to sit and really consider where and how to move the blocks that keep us from being fully alive in Christ. For many who come to the Encounter weekend God plants seeds that lead to Christ centered transformation. However, each person that comes has a unique experience, one that we believe God planned for.
